It combines temperature stable electronics and a high quality probe head. This results in extremely small calibration slope changes over temperature, making frequent calibrations redundant. The AWP-24 is the first wave height gauge product on the market to use purely digital techniques to measure capacitance and with no discharge in water and no interference with adjacent probes.

The Akamina Wave Height Gauge is designed:

• to monitor waves in hydraulic models and ship tanks
• to measure water level changes from sub-millimeter to meters
