Project Description:

Tommotek, a provider of CNC machines for manufacturing, was looking to incorporate an ARM micro-controller as part of its CNC offering. It turned to Akamina to provide a framework for the NXP LPC2378 ARM 7 micro-controller. This framework includes drivers for on-chip peripherals plus a foreground processing task.

Deliverables:

• Set up and documentation of an Eclipse-based Integrated Development Environment on Fedora Core 9
• Integrate drivers for the timer, I2C, CAN, digital I/O and UART peripherals
• Support for assertions
