We are currently looking for a senior designer / architect with experience developing Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) processors. This is a contract position for a period of up to 18 months.

Job Description:

• Work with the design team and the client to identify and collect all functional requirements
• Analyse and refine the set of collected requirements
• Develop a high-level design that meets the functional requirements
• Create the design documentation and present it at design reviews
• Contribute to the development of detailed design documents
• Contribute to the project planning, tracking and reporting
• Contribute to the development of a system-wide testing strategy
• Contribute to the development and integration of the system components

Required Skills:

• Experience developing at least one significant SAR processor
• Experience designing, developing and testing multi-processor systems
• Strong coding skills in both C and C++
• Strong OO background
• Familiar with the use of Linux in an embedded environment
• Self-starter with strong English communication skills
• Ability to work in a small development team
• Reliability Status security clearance
